Tide Clocks were one of the first products Georgetown Pottery made some 40 years ago. Jeff Peters, the owner, is an avid fisherman and wanted to know when the tide would be right for a lunch break fishing trip. The patented off center circle design represents the height and direction of the tide. Hand up is high tide and hand down is low. The Tide Clocks run on lunar time, 24 hours and 50 minutes. While they were initially created for fishing, they make a wonderful gift for any boater, sailor, beach goer or lover of the sea. To use, simply set to the local harbor, beach, or body of water of your choice. They use 1 AA battery and are 7.5 inches in diameter.
